Optical microscope Biomed 5P
The polarizing binocular microscope Biomed 5P is designed for observing drugs in transmitted and polarized light using the bright field method. The magnification provided can reach 630 times. The model can be widely used in crystallographic, biological and mineralogical studies, as well as in the educational process. The microscope allows for orthoscopic and conoscopic observations with a centered Bertrand lens, crystal-optric studies using a set of compensators, and work in polarized light. The device is equipped with a set of polarizing lenses, which are fixed in a four-position turret. The revolving device can rotate around its axis, providing a quick change of the working lens. The visual attachment is a binocular that rotates 360°. The microscope comes with four wide-angle eyepieces (including a reticle, crosshair and measuring scale). Individually adjustable diopters and interpupillary distance provide comfort for long-term work. The microscope provides coarse and fine focusing with the ability to adjust the coarse focusing knob. Biomed 5P is also equipped with a rotary analyzer for transmitted light with a Bertrand lens and a slot for compensators. The polarizer is rotatable, with an angle reading scale. At the base there is a round, rotating stage with graduation. Also built into the base is a halogen illuminator with adjustable brightness.
