Optical microscope Biomed 3I

Biomed 3I is an inverted microscope that can be used to study cellular structures and the nutrient medium under the monolayer, located in special medical containers. The microscope allows you to work in transmitted light using the bright field method. The possibility of carrying out the above studies appeared thanks to the inverted design of the microscope: the illuminator is located on top, and observations are carried out from below. Biomed 3I is equipped with a trinocular visual attachment, which allows you to equip the microscope with a video eyepiece and record observations, as well as create photographs of the studied preparations. The eyepiece tubes are inclined at an angle of 30° to the vertical, which ensures optimal position of the observer's head. The turret device is four-position. The microscope offers the possibility of both coarse and fine focus adjustment. The control knobs are located coaxially, and the tension of the coarse adjustment knob can be adjusted. Biomed 3I is equipped with a vertical Kohler illuminator with a halogen bulb. The power supply for the illuminator is built into the base of the microscope and is equipped with an automatic voltage sensing. The brightness adjustment knob is also located on the base.
