Optical metallographic microscope MAGUS Metal 650
MAGUS Metal 650 is a reflected light metallographic microscope for inspecting the surfaces of integrated circuits, photomasks, precision molded parts, printed circuit boards, etc. It is equipped with a large stage with a larger bi-axial movement range and a fine focusing mechanism with 0.7 µm pitch. The microscope provides accurate and convenient work at high magnifications and is suitable for working with extended and wide samples. Research methods: bright field and polarized light. The microscope is used for professional assessment of the quality of products, research and routine work in the laboratory, and teaching students. Optical design The microscope is equipped with a trinocular visual attachment with an imaging channel for a digital camera (purchased separately). 100% of the light can be directed into the eyepieces or into the imaging channel - the light flow switch is responsible for this. The visual part is tilted 30° for easy viewing. On the left tube there is a diopter adjustment ring - it is used to adjust the vision of an observer with myopia or farsightedness. The revolving device is directed “away from the observer”, so the lens inserted into the path of rays is clearly visible. After installing all the supplied lenses, there are no free slots left, but if necessary, any of them can be replaced with an additional one. All lenses are plan achromatic, designed for infinity and with a long working distance. Microscope magnification: 50–800x as standard. Lighting system The light source is a 30-watt halogen lamp, the brightness of which is sufficient for comfortable work on any lens with any research method available on the microscope. Brightness adjustment is provided, lighting can be adjusted using the Köhler method, and there are light filters. Both diaphragms (aperture and field) and the light source are centered. There is a simple polarization device - a built-in analyzer and a removable polarizer that rotates in the range of 0–360°. Mechanics The 280x270 mm inspection table allows for free placement of large samples. The travel stroke along two axes has been increased to 204 mm for comfortable work with long and wide objects. Focusing mechanisms move the subject smoothly and with high precision. For coarse focusing, you can adjust the rigidity or set the lock. The focusing knobs are located coaxially at the bottom of the body, so you don't need to hold your hands up when adjusting. Accessories Equip the MAGUS Metal 650 microscope with additional accessories to take advantage of all its capabilities. Eyepieces, extended working distance lenses, calibration slides, and digital cameras are available.
