Optical medical microscope Mikmed-5

The medical microscope Mikmed-5 is designed for examining stained and unstained preparations (in the form of smears, sections or samples in special chambers) in transmitted light using the bright field method. This is an excellent working microscope for everyday routine work in medicine or biology. It can also be successfully used in educational institutions. The microscope is equipped with a binocular visual attachment, which ensures parallelism of the ocular axes at any interpupillary distance. The turret device houses four lenses that face away from the observer. The device is distinguished by excellent optics: all optical elements are manufactured using special technologies that are used in the production of defense equipment. The coarse and fine focusing mechanisms are coaxial. The two-coordinate object table is equipped with a drug holder. The surface of the table is treated with a disinfectant coating. At the base of the microscope there is an illuminator with continuously adjustable brightness. This model uses an LED as a light source, which lasts about 30,000 hours. A special feature of the Mikmed-5 microscope is a retractable collector unit with an illuminator. This design ensures optimal thermal conditions and durability of the illuminator, as well as its availability if replacement is necessary.
