Optical inverted microscope MAGUS Bio V350

The inverted biological microscope MAGUS Bio V350 is designed for studying samples placed in laboratory dishes in bright field and in phase contrast. Research objects can be painted or unpainted; Petri dishes, flasks, tablets and other utensils with a height of up to 55 mm (with a deflection of the illuminator stand and up to 165 mm) and with a bottom thickness of 1.2 mm can be used for work. The microscope is suitable for professional routine work in the laboratory, scientific research, and teaching. Optical design The microscope is equipped with a trinocular visual attachment, which can be rotated 180° when assembling the microscope to adapt it to the required height. The microscope is equipped with two visualization channels: one vertical, located on the body and used to install a monitor, the second is built into the body and is needed to install a digital camera. A revolver with 5 sockets is located under the test sample. The set includes four plan achromatic lenses designed for infinity: three of them are intended for bright-field observations, one for phase contrast. Lighting system Switching contrast methods occurs directly on the phase-contrast condenser: when installing it in the free hole position, the bright field method is used, in the other three positions the phase contrast method is used: for each lens the position is selected in accordance with its magnification. The transmitted light illuminator is represented by a 30 W halogen lamp. It shines in a “warm” spectrum - such lighting is more pleasing to the eye and better suited for long-term work. When researching, you can use the lighting setting according to the Köhler method. Mechanics One of four cup holders is installed on the object table - the appropriate one is selected based on the size of the glassware. The dishes move along the X and Y axes using a special movement mechanism. The table itself is motionless. The sharpness is adjusted by rotating two coarse and fine focusing knobs; the movement of the mechanisms is smooth and precise. Coarse focusing can be locked, and you can also select the harshness for it. The handles are located coaxially and are as comfortable as possible for long-term work - during work, your hands can be placed on the table, rather than being held suspended.
