Levenhuk IMM500 Optical Inverted Metallographic Microscope
Levenhuk IMM500 inverted metallographic microscope is a professional model with plan achromatic optics, magnification from 50 to 500 times and a removable polarizer. Thanks to its design, as well as the very reliable design of the housing, the device allows you to work with large and heavy opaque objects - up to 2 kg. It is also possible to study flat sections of these objects. The microscope is suitable for use in mechanical engineering, metallurgical and microelectronic enterprises, will be useful for criminologists and employees of university departments, and will be an excellent choice for retrofitting the laboratory of a research institute. The microscope is equipped with a trinocular attachment, i.e. it has a separate eyepiece tube for mounting a digital camera (the camera itself is not included). Using a camera, you can display the image from the microscope on an external screen and record the stages of research in a photo or video. The planachromat lenses are adjusted to infinity, the eyepieces provide a wide field of view, and the image formed by the microscope is clear and informative, without distortion. The object stage is movable, i.e. it can be moved forward, backward, right and left within specified limits. There are aperture and field diaphragms, as well as filters. Focusing can be done in different steps: both coarsely and precisely. The source of illumination for the work area is a halogen lamp with adjustable brightness, which operates from a 220 V network.
