Oximeter HANNA HI 9147-04 (portable)
Oximeter HANNA HI 9147-04 (portable) The HI 9147-04 is a rugged, waterproof dissolved oxygen (DO in mg/l or %) meter designed to provide accurate measurements in harsh environmental conditions. The device is characterized by manual one-point calibration and is equipped with automatic compensation for temperature, salinity and altitude. Supplied complete with galvanic sensor, high density polyethylene membrane caps, electrolyte solution, protective cap and durable carrying case. Dissolved oxygen is a frequently measured parameter in aquaculture, wastewater treatment, environmental studies and wine analysis. HI 9147-04 is designed to provide measurements in harsh environmental conditions. Salinity compensation, allowing the measurement of dissolved oxygen even in salty waters, makes this instrument an ideal meter for aquaculture applications. Replaceable caps with membrane A thin, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) membrane is stretched over a threaded screw cap that can be quickly replaced by simply filling a new cap with HI 7042 electrolyte solution and screwing it onto the dissolved oxygen (DO) sensor. Galvanic measuring system The device and sensor use galvanic sensor technology, in which the potential difference between the electrodes causes a reaction that does not require external voltage. The sensor consists of a silver cathode and a zinc anode placed in an electrolyte solution held by a polymer membrane near the surface of the electrodes. Oxygen diffuses through the membrane and an electric current is generated in the system, the strength of which is proportional to the current concentration of dissolved oxygen. Automatic temperature compensation All measured readings are automatically compensated for temperature fluctuations with high accuracy, thanks to the built-in linearizing temperature sensor thermistor located on the rear of the stainless steel cover. Altitude compensation The HI 9147-04 device allows you to compensate for the influence of altitude up to 4000 meters above sea level with a resolution of 100 meters. Salinity compensation Salinity compensation is adjustable from 0 to 51 g/l (parts per thousand) with a resolution of 1 g/l for measuring dissolved oxygen in brackish and seawater. Backlit LCD display The HI 9147-04 device is equipped with a backlit display for easy viewing of readings in low light conditions. Manba: https://www.nv-lab.ru/catalog_info.php?ID=2743
