Educational robotics kit TURTLEBOT3 Burger
Turtlebot3 is a new generation mobile robot that is compact, modular and customizable. Designed for educational and research projects. Turtlebot is one of the most popular open source software and hardware robots. The Turtlebot3 model is perfectly integrated with the Robot Operating System (ROS), making it suitable for use in a variety of educational and research projects. The robot is equipped with a rotating lidar with a viewing angle of 360 degrees, which makes it possible to implement algorithms for autonomous navigation and localization. The robot is integrated into various kinematic schemes, for example, into a 2-wheel differential platform or a 4-wheel Ackermann platform. Turtlbot3 is built on the new Dynamixel XM series servomotors, which support several control modes: position, speed, current, and a combination of the above modes. Thanks to the support of modern control methods on the Turtlebot3 platform, it is possible to implement algorithms for collaborative robots.
