Educational set “Biologist’s Laboratory” AMP-S048
The basis of the set is a hydroponic ecosystem, where the roots of the plant receive nutrients from an aqueous solution instead of soil. You don’t have to ensure that you turn on the phytolamp, fan and pump on time - the system is controlled in real time by a computer with a group of sensors. A professional phytolamp with a selected spectrum replaces natural sunlight for the plant, and a fan and compressor provide air circulation for the roots and leaves to breathe. Sensors for salinity, acidity, carbon dioxide and liquid level monitor the state of the nutrient solution, which, together with fertilizers, supplies plants with nutrients for growth. Control of the system resembles a tablet: all data is displayed on a convenient touch screen. Here you can view current sensor readings, change logs with graphs, or change settings. The system is also equipped with a video camera that can record time-lapses to visually illustrate the various phases of seedling growth. The image from the camera can always be displayed on the computer screen to see how your plant is doing without opening the protective awning. Students will explore the process of plant development and understand how it is influenced by external factors. A course of 18 laboratory works based on the 6th grade biology curriculum will help with this. The course is suitable for both core and additional classes. The textbook is designed in the form of a book with visual illustrations and tips. The stand allows you to place the manual on your desk and flip through it like a calendar. One copy can be used by the entire group of nerds!
