"Snegir" is an entry-level educational unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and is suitable for: studying the design and assembly of drones; acquaintance with the physics of flight; gaining new knowledge in the field of programming aerial robotics. The Bullfinch training quadcopter supports various navigation options: using Optical Flow and an Aruco-tag map. Autonomous flight can be programmed using Python or a block programming environment. This educational UAV set is suitable for students in grades 6-11 as part of the study of school disciplines of a technical and practical profile, for Quantoriums, additional education clubs, fablabs and aircraft modeling sections. In colleges, this quadcopter can be used for professional training in technical specialties related to the management and operation of modern aviation systems. All electronic components of the set are connected to each other using connectors. This set is safe thanks to a built-in software and hardware solution that will turn off the motors when colliding with an obstacle (for example, a net), thereby preventing the motor from overheating and failing. The basic set includes an LED module, which is also programmable. For example, light indication for takeoff in green and landing in red.
