The demonstration set is designed to study the laws of geometric optics and demonstrate the operation of some optical devices. What will the child learn? The demonstration kit will allow you to perform 31 experiments devoted to such phenomena as: Rectilinear propagation of light Formation of shadow and penumbra Specular reflection of light Diffuse reflection of light Dependence of the focal length of the lens on the refractive index of the external environment Relationship of the distance from the object to the lens with the distance from the lens to its reflection Spherical aberration Chromatic aberration Action of the optical system of the eye Passage of light through a plane-parallel plate In addition, the kit provides capabilities for computer simulation of the passage of a light beam through a lens. Working method Allows you to teach the main stages of conducting experimental research, and also allows you to conduct joint research with students. Modeling software The entire set comes in a plastic storage system, which is closed with a transparent lid with latches. All elements of the set are located in the storage system on a support. Methodological support The set has methodological instructions in Russian for performing 31 experiments. Descriptions of the experiments are accompanied by photographs showing what results the teacher can obtain during the demonstration. Software The software contains a calculation model that provides calculation of the refraction of light rays on the surfaces of the lens in order to determine the focal length of the lens with given values of the radii of curvature of the surfaces. The software screen interface allows you to enter values ​​for the radii of curvature of the lens surfaces and the nature of these surfaces (concave, convex, flat), the radius of the light beam, and the refractive index of the lens material. The computational model has methodological guidelines describing numerical experiments that can be performed using this model. To operate the starting device, an additional power source with a voltage of at least 12V is required, for example, a 24V power supply adjustable with a load current of up to 10A. Important: The product is included in the register of industrial products produced on the territory of the Russian Federation 2740\3\2022.
