Demonstration kit on the dynamics of rotational motion
The demonstration set is intended for conducting demonstration experiments and numerical simulations to study rotational motion. What will the child learn? The demonstration set allows you to perform 10 experiments on rotational and oscillatory motion, inertial frames of reference, centripetal acceleration, rotation of a rigid body with constant acceleration, as well as carry out computational modeling of the behavior of a liquid in a rotating vessel. Working method Allows you to teach the main stages of conducting experimental research, and also allows you to conduct joint research with students. Composition: Drive unit with an electric motor and a massive base on adjustable supports Digital angular velocity sensor (from 0.3 to 25 rad/s) Frame made of aluminum profile Suspension with a load of 0.2 kg (2 pcs.) Suspension with a load of 0.4 kg Signaling device Trap for balls Steel ball (3 pcs.) Ball with thread and holder Cuvette with clamps Curved tube with funnel Spring with lock Wire bracket (3 pcs.) Fixed block on a corner bracket Thread Weight weighing 0.1 kg (2 pcs.) Dynamometer 5 N Software for conducting the experiment Software for simulating the behavior of a liquid in a rotating vessel Methodological support The demonstration kit has a methodological manual, which contains instructions for performing 10 experiments on assembled installations. The description of the experiments is accompanied by a photograph of the installation and screenshots of the software, showing what results the teacher will receive during the demonstration. Experiment software The experiment software provides: selection of the unit of measurement (angular velocity - rad/s or rotational speed - rpm), selection of the time interval between successively obtained values of the measured parameter, as well as presentation of the data on the monitor in the form of a dependence of the angular velocity (rotation frequency) on time./p> The experiment software contains experimental scenarios that include the optimal settings of the sensors used to conduct the experiment. In addition, one scenario allows you to work with a program that simulates the behavior of a fluid in a rotating vessel. Scenarios allow you to carry out all stages of scientific research of a phenomenon: demonstrate qualitative patterns of the observed phenomenon (faster - slower, grows-decreases - does not depend), conduct quantitative research with measuring quantities. To operate the drive, an additional power source with a voltage of at least 15V is required, for example, a 24V power supply regulated with a load current of up to 10A.
