Microscope MPB-2 Reading microscope MPB-2 is designed to measure the diameter of the imprint (hole) formed on the surface of various metals when determining hardness using the Brinell method. The operating principle of the microscope is based on comparing the image of the imprint obtained by pressing a ball into the material under study under a certain load with a grid scale. Specifications The largest diameter of the measured print is 6.5 mm. The scale division is 0.1 mm. Linear field of view 9 mm. Eyepiece focusing limits +4 dioptres. Microscope magnification 24x. Lens magnification 2x. Eyepiece magnification 12x. The permissible error in the distances between individual strokes and over the entire length is +0.02 mm.
