The rotating trinocular head is convenient when several users need to monitor the examination at once. In this case, you do not have to unfold the entire microscope, risking changing the lighting conditions, but you can simply rotate the nozzle. Its tilt angle is comfortable for long-term observations - it is 45°, thereby reducing the load on vision and the cervical spine. It can also rotate 360°. Like all microscopes in this series, Levenhuk 740T is equipped with a built-in LED backlight with continuously adjustable brightness and an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and filters. This lighting system allows you to correctly illuminate a microspecimen to study details at any magnification, as well as study transparent samples in transmitted light using the light field method. The samples are illuminated from below. The source directs light onto the sample and allows you to select the illumination intensity. The Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm allows you to select the appropriate aperture to accurately direct the light beam to the observation area. The included filters help highlight details and increase image contrast. The backlight works from the network. For the most comfortable work with microspecimens, the microscope is equipped with a stage with metal clamps and coordinate movement (coordinate scale). It can move along two axes - vertically and horizontally, allowing you to not interrupt observations when moving from one area of ​​the specimen to another. For focusing, a knob on the body is used, on which scales of the coaxial mechanism for fine and coarse sharpness adjustment are applied. The microscope provides a large number of fixed magnifications ranging from 40× to 2000×. You can change the magnification by turning the turret directly during observations. The revolving device of the microscope is designed for 4 lenses. B The kit includes achromatic and oil lenses of different magnifications and two pairs of interchangeable eyepieces 10 and 20 times. By combining accessories, you can choose the appropriate magnification. Thus, with the WF10× eyepiece you can get magnifications of 40×, 100×, 400×, 1000×, and with the WFH20× eyepiece you can get magnifications of 80×, 200×, 800×, 2000×. An immersion lens will allow you to better see the details of microspecimens at maximum magnification, greatly enhancing their brightness and depth of field. A bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit. Focusing on the sample occurs using the fine and coarse focusing knob. This method of adjusting sharpness is used exclusively in the highest class microscopes.
