Medical analyzer Technomedica MicroBiAn "MicroBiAn" is a small-sized 1-wave programmable semi-automatic analyzer. Unlike the BiAn analyzer, MicroBiAn has only one working wavelength, which is installed at the factory according to your order. You can choose a wavelength of 340, 405, 492, 540, 580 or 620 nm. The device is produced with preset methods in accordance with the customer’s wishes. MicroBiAn is easy to use. Its operation and simple maintenance are accessible to medical personnel with minimal qualification requirements. It is used in both stationary and mobile laboratories. Depending on the MicroBiAna modification and the biochemical method, studies of liquid biosamples are carried out in standard quartz, glass or borosilicate cylindrical tubes with an optical path length of 10 or 5 mm. The use of plastic cuvettes or semi-micro cuvettes is allowed. An adapter is included for mounting cylindrical tubes. Minimum sample volume 200 µl. "MicroBiAn" provides measurement of the optical density of a solution and determination, based on the measured optical density, of enzyme activity or the concentration of the test substance in a solution, recalculated by a factor or a piecewise linear calibration curve. The conversion factor is determined automatically when calibrating using a standard (calibration) solution (linear calibration) or using several standard (calibration) solutions (multipoint calibration up to 7 points). The factor can be entered into the device manually. Calibration parameters (concentration of standards, factor and others) are stored in non-volatile memory for 99 methods and are changed (reprogrammed) when changing research methods, standards or reagents. Standard kinetic and end-point measurement methods in monochromatic mode are used for research. MicroBiAn is an open system analyzer that does not limit the user in the choice of reagents. It is possible to use reagents from popular manufacturers: Ecolab, Eco-Service, Human, Lachema, Vital Diagnostic, Vector Best, Filicit-Diagnostics, RENAM. Photometric parameters are controlled automatically. The linearity of changes in optical density and the magnitude of the photometric error when conducting kinetic studies with calculation of the regression line are controlled using a special algorithm. In case of nonlinearity or significant photometric error, MicroBiAn issues a corresponding warning. MicroBiAn also warns if the photometric parameters when setting the optical zero are from the stated standards. MicroBiAn can be connected to an external printer, computer or special printing device (which must be purchased separately and will be useful if the analyzer is used in a field laboratory). The connection is made via an optical output (IR communication; you can purchase a special adapter for your computer). To check the functionality of the analyzer, special optical control measures are included in the package. No other means are required. "MicroBiAn" is a measurement tool. Technical features The spectral band of the device is determined by a light filter preinstalled at the factory from the range of 340-700 nm. The light filter that determines the operating wavelength of the device has the following parameters: The accuracy of setting the working wavelength is ± 2 nm. The spectral transmission band, determined at a level of 0.5 of the maximum transmission value, is 10 ± 2 nm. The operating wavelength of the light filter (the wavelength of maximum transmission of the interference filter) is indicated on the device body and displayed on the analyzer display. Available options: 340, 405, 492, 540, 580 or 620 nm. The range of measurements of optical density by the device is from 0 to 2.0 B. The limit of the permissible standard deviation (RMS) of the random component of the instrument error when measuring optical density is no more than: 0.001 B - in the range from 0 to 1 B. The error in determining the concentration of a substance in a solution and the threshold sensitivity depend on the chosen method (method) and are indicated in the instructions for the reagents.
