LEGO 9689 Simple Machines Set
The set consists of 16 standard models, 4 basic models and 4 models for learning the principles of operation of simple and complex mechanisms used in everyday life: gears, levers, rollers, wheels and axles. Children assemble models using special drawing instructions and become familiar with one of the principles of engineering design, and also learn to explore, observe, reason, predict and analyze the operation of simple mechanisms in various designs. LEGO-designed materials help create a fun, yet motivating classroom environment that encourages creative problem-solving, collaborative ideation and teamwork.
