LEGO 9660 Construction Set "First Constructions"
This educational playset was designed to teach basic engineering concepts. The child will be able to build a bridge, tower, arch with his own hands. At the same time, the young builder will master the concepts of balance of structures, their mobility, durability, strength, optimal shape and transmission of motion in the structure. The instructions do not contain all the models that can be built, so the child will have to independently look for a solution and implement his own ideas and plans. The set consists of 107 elements: bricks of different sizes, 2 miniature figures of men, movable hooks on axles and belts. The cards, on one side, depict the stages of assembling different models and options for testing them, and on the other, inspiring ideas for modifying models. All tasks are formulated in such a way that the child, by manipulating accessible and interesting objects for him, finds successful design and engineering solutions that are used in the design of real structures and structures. Any of the created models must be tested for strength.
