LEGO 45509 EV3 IR Sensor
The EV3 Digital Infrared Sensor can detect when a robot is approaching. It is capable of capturing IR signals emitted by an IR beacon, allowing the creation of remote-controlled robots and navigation systems to overcome obstacles. When working with the sensor, students will learn about the technology that is used in audio-video equipment control panels, video surveillance systems, and even target designation systems. Measurements with a proximity/removal sensor within a radius of 50-70 cm, IR signal capture radius up to 2 m, up to 4 individual signal reception channels, receiving remote IR control commands. Automatic identification by EV3 software. Age: 10+
