LEGO 45508 IR Beacon EV3
The Infrared Beacon is designed for use with the EV3 IR Sensor. The beacon emits an IR signal that is picked up by a sensor. The IR Beacon can also be used as a remote control for the EV3 Brick by transmitting signals to the IR sensor. The sensor requires two AAA batteries to operate, the sensor has a button and a toggle switch to turn it on/off, up to 4 individual signal transmission channels, a green LED lights up when the IR beacon is operating, automatic shutdown when idle for more than 1 hour, range of up to 2 m.
