LEGO 2009798 Robotics Projects

The disc contains 3 thematic projects lasting about 24 hours. Projects developed by Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy focus on real-life topics, such as: “Automation of mining operations,” “Training guard dogs,” “Automated tree measuring.” Students work individually, using a variety of sources to design, build, and program successful solutions. Through projects, students apply knowledge of topics related to energy, force, and speed, program and control input devices such as ultrasonic, sound, light, and touch sensors, and output devices such as motors and lamps. Students use wireless communications to install and operate a security system, measure distance and speed of sound, convert units of measurement, and apply mathematical methods. The previous set of robotics tasks is Introduction to Robotics. Age: 11+
