Coulometer Expert-006 (universal, determination of acids). The analyzer is designed for quantitative determination of the mass of a substance contained in a solution in the form of ions, complex compounds, neutral molecules and other electroactive compounds, by coulometric titration in galvanostatic mode. Scope of application: coulometric titration using the neutralization method (acid-base titration), titration with electrogenerated oxidizing agents and reducing agents, titration methods based on precipitation and complexation reactions. The analyzer can be used in chemical-technological, agrochemical, environmental and analytical laboratories of industrial enterprises, research institutions, control, inspection and supervision bodies. It is used in industrial, laboratory and field conditions. The analyzer has a standard RS 232 communication interface and can work in conjunction with IBM PC computers. It is possible to record the results of measuring the amount of a substance into the memory, indicating the time of measurement. The analyzer consists of a measuring transducer, including a galvanostat and a coulomer, an electrochemical cell consisting of anode and cathode chambers separated by a porous glass filter, and a magnetic stirrer. Titration of the analyte is carried out in an electrochemical cell that contains a pair of generator electrodes and an indicator electrode used for potentiometric, bipotentiometric, conductometric or photometric determination of the end point of the titration, an electrolyte for generating the titrating reagent, and a sample of the analyte. The analyzer's controls and digital display are located on the front panel of the analyzer. Controls and connectors for external electrical connections are labeled accordingly. The converter is designed as an electronic microprocessor unit powered from an alternating current network through an external power supply. The measurement results are presented on the liquid crystal display in alphanumeric display or in graphic form.
