Constructor HEXBUG Simple mechanisms (2): Catapult

The HEXBUG Simple Mechanisms (2) series of construction kits was created to encourage children to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through play, helping to develop engineering imagination, logic and mathematical thinking. The sets are equipped with simple elements that are easily connected to each other. This kit allows you to assemble a catapult that replicates an ancient design created 100 years BC by Greek and Roman engineers. The catapult is equipped with a winch with a ratcheting mechanism, which allows you to control the throw range. Thanks to this mechanism, you can throw balls over a distance of over 3 meters! Using the example of a catapult, you can clearly study the law of conservation of energy. In addition, this set allows you to assemble two types of cars: a racing car and a three-wheeled car. The construction kit contains more than 100 parts, 2 balls, and step-by-step instructions for assembling the models. No batteries required.
