Conductivity meter HANNA HI 98303 Dist3 (pocket)
Conductivity meter HANNA HI 98303 Dist3 (pocket) The DiST series testers are rugged, reliable pocket-sized testers for obtaining fast and accurate electrical conductivity readings. The DiST® series of testers are widely used to monitor the electrical conductivity of drinking water, water treatment, reverse osmosis, cooling towers, wastewater, laboratories, agriculture, aquaculture and aquariums, hydroponics and printing industries. These testers have a non-oxidizing amperometric graphite electrode for better measurement reproducibility. Amperometric measurement of electrical conductivity is based on the application of Ohm's law, I = V / R, where R depends on the distance between the two electrodes and the size of their surface. Oxidation of the electrodes changes both the distance and the surface area, which affects the accuracy of measurements. The non-oxidizing graphite electrodes of the DiSTs provide an optimal surface for accurate and reliable results. Calibration is automatic. The following are intended for measuring salt content: DIST 1 (order code HI 98301) - low salinity range; DIST 2 (order code HI 98302) - high salinity range. To measure conductivity the following are intended: DIST 3 (order code HI 98303) - low conductivity range; DIST 4 (order code HI 98304) - high conductivity range.
