Quantum Physics Workshop Kit
The set for a workshop in quantum physics is designed for sequential implementation of 5 works on atomic physics (spectroscopy), as well as for solving research problems within the framework of project activities. To carry out measurements, a digital spectrometer is used, which is connected to the USB input of a personal computer (the computer is not included in the package). The spectrometer registers radiation in the wavelength range 400 - 760 nm with a resolution of 0.5 nm, has a removable compartment for cells with a backlight source and is equipped with a light guide for easy pairing with the source of the radiation being studied. To control the operation of the spectrometer and read information from it about the spectral composition of the analyzed radiation, a special computer program is used, which, in particular, allows you to subtract the dark spectrum and carry out averaging over a given number of records. The power supply for the spectral tubes included in the kit is based on a step-up transformer. It has a device for limiting the glow duration of the gas discharge tube and a system for blocking access to the tube when the supply voltage is applied.
