Promobot Robox robotics learning kit
The Robox kit includes four main components: interface board, distance sensor, servo and software. Ready-made educational materials are provided with the Robox kit. The Robox kit allows you to study robotics using the components of a “real” robot. Classes on Robox are easily integrated into any educational process thanks to educational materials that are already used in Russian universities - Novosibirsk State University, Perm Polytechnic University, Tomsk TUSUR, PGMA named after. Wagner, UIA. The Robox robotics learning kit helps schoolchildren and students learn the basics of working with “real” service robots. All Robox components are used in Promobot robots for safe user interaction, navigation and arm movement. Robox helps you learn in practice the Python and C++ programming languages, algorithms, mechatronics and electronics. The interface board allows you to connect any computer running Windows or Linux to the distance sensor and servo drive and process data from the devices in real time. Robox is immediately ready for inclusion in the curriculum of a school, university, college or additional education institution. The kit includes not only the software and hardware part, but also the educational and methodological part. The teaching materials were created on the basis of practical experience: engineers and programmers who created robots for use in 43 countries of the world participated in the development. The materials include a teacher training program that allows you to organize a comprehensive study of the innovative discipline. Thanks to Robox, students receive up-to-date competencies and skills necessary to work in a robotics company.
