Biosvyaz musculoskeletal biofeedback complex
The BFB software-indicator complex simultaneously processes several signals of muscle electrical activity (EMG). Based on the obtained values of the processed EMG signals, multimedia biofeedback (BFB) signals are generated, which are presented visually on the computer monitor screen (moving a mark or curtain, painting a column, changing slides, animated game scenes, etc.), as well as in the form of sound signals (threshold on/off, change in tone, etc.). The program simultaneously processes the amplitudes of the spatio-temporal EMG pattern of one or several muscles, followed by their comparison with reference characteristics and the generation of multimedia BFB signals reflecting deviations of real indicators from the standard. The complex provides an initial assessment of a person’s motor function using the analysis of amplitude-temporal EMG patterns when performing test movements and directional control of movements using the biofeedback method. Optimizing the conditions for motor training and reducing the time required to develop motor skills occurs through sessions for managing the functional state of a person through neuromuscular relaxation with biofeedback.
