Serum inactivator ISA 45-100M Medek Serum inactivator ISA 45-100M Medek is intended for serological laboratories of skin and venereal disease clinics, blood transfusion stations and other medical institutions. The device is used to perform serological tests for syphilis to inactivate serum and conduct a number of other serological and immunological studies. The inactivator is a desktop device. After loading the cassettes and closing the door, the device is switched on using a switch located on the front panel. The heating time to the set temperature is 9-10 minutes, after which a sound signal sounds and the light signal for the start of the inactivation mode lights up. During the inactivation process, the temperature in the working chamber is maintained with an accuracy of ± 0.3°C, but not lower than 56°C and not higher than 57°C. The built-in fan provides intensive air circulation and high-quality heating of the serum in the test tubes. After 30 minutes of holding at the set temperature, a sound signal is heard indicating the end of the inactivation process, the device is turned off and the tubes are removed. Thus, the work is completely automated. Immediately after unloading a batch of inactivated tubes, the device allows the possibility of loading a new batch of tubes. Its productivity can be increased to 960 pieces per shift. The device is suitable for use even in the largest serological laboratories.
