HiTechnic NEO1048 Electro-optical distance sensor
HiTechnic NEO1048 allows you to very accurately measure distances to objects. It uses its own light source, similar to a standard color sensor, but it has a big difference. The EOPD distance sensor measures the light that was emitted by its own source and filters out external light and other unnecessary signals. This operating principle allows the sensor to detect objects at a short distance (about 20 cm) and accurately respond to changes in distance.
