Psychrometric hygrometer, psychrometer VIT-2 Purpose of the device: Measuring relative humidity and air temperature in the room. Manufactured according to TU25-11.1645-84. Has a “Certificate of Type Approval of Measuring Instruments”. Design: They consist of a plastic base on which a temperature scale with two capillaries is attached, the reservoir of one of which is moistened with a fabric wick lowered into a feeder with water, and a table for determining the relative humidity of the air from the difference in the “dry” and “moistened” readings. The feeder is fixed on the inside of the base. The scale plate and table are metal. Operating principle: It is based on the relationship between air humidity and the psychometric difference - the difference in the readings of the “dry” and “wet” thermometers, which are in thermodynamic equilibrium with the environment.
