Operating principle: Based on the relationship between air humidity and psychometric difference - the difference in readings "dry" and "wet" thermometers located in thermodynamic balance with the environment. Construction They consist of a plastic base on which is attached a temperature scale with two capillaries, the reservoir of one of which is moistened with a fabric wick lowered into a feeder with water, and a table for determining the relative humidity of the air from the difference in the “dry” and “moistened” readings.
