Hygrometer-psychrometer VIT-2, white body. Purpose of the device: Measuring relative humidity and indoor air temperature. Manufactured according to TU25-11.1645-84. Construction: They consist of a plastic base on which a temperature scale with two capillaries is fixed. The reservoir of one of the capillaries is moistened with a fabric wick lowered into a feeder with water, and a table for determining the relative humidity of the air from the difference in the “dry” and “moistened” readings. The feeder is fixed on the inside of the base. The scale plate and table are metal. Operating principle: It is based on the relationship between air humidity and the psychometric difference - the difference in the readings of the “dry” and “wet” thermometers, which are in thermodynamic equilibrium with the environment.
