Hygrometer-psychrometer VIT-1, white body. Purpose of the device: Measuring relative humidity and indoor air temperature. Manufactured according to 3 14307481.001-92. Operating principle: It is based on the relationship between air humidity and the psychometric difference - the difference in the readings of the “dry” and “wet” thermometers, which are in thermodynamic equilibrium with the environment. Construction: They consist of a plastic base on which is attached a temperature scale with two capillaries, the reservoir of one of which is moistened with a fabric wick lowered into a feeder with water, and a table for determining the relative humidity of the air from the difference in the “dry” and “moistened” readings.
