Pure hydrogen generator GVCh-25A
Pure hydrogen generator GVCh-25A designed to produce hydrogen of the highest purity, used to power analytical instruments (chromatographs, gas analyzers, etc.). Due to the high output pressure, deep purification and low moisture content, the hydrogen produced by the generator can be used as a carrier gas. Hydrogen in the generator is obtained by electrolysis of purified water in an electrolyzer made on a solid electrolyte - an ion-exchange polymer membrane. The generator is refilled with distilled water. The amount of water in the supply tank is controlled by level sensors, and the purity of the water being filled is controlled by a built-in conductivity meter. When the quality of water entering the electrolysis module deteriorates, periodic circulation of water occurs with cleaning in the deionization filter cartridge. The generator is equipped with an emergency shutdown system for the device in case of a significant increase in the moisture content in the output hydrogen. The generator performs the function of monitoring the depressurization of gas lines. If a leak occurs during operation, the generator stops generating hydrogen after a minute. The generator has a “blow-off” stage, which ensures an accelerated return of the entire chromatographic complex to operating mode.
