SOEKS Quantum dosimeter (professional)
Dosimeter SOEKS Quantum is designed to measure the accumulated dose of radiation, assess the level of radioactive background and detect objects, food, building materials contaminated with radioactive elements and is used in the work of government services (EMERCOM, customs), banks, nuclear power plants, etc., as well as in everyday life (checking a house, building materials, personal plot). If necessary, the device can be verified in a specialized accredited laboratory. The Quantum dosimeter assesses background radiation based on the power of ionizing radiation (gamma radiation and beta particle flux) taking into account X-ray radiation. SOEKS Quantum is a professional dosimeter that combines measurement accuracy and a user-friendly interface. Color and sound indication, recording of measurement results in the device’s memory, the ability to transfer data to a computer and update software using a special program make working with the device as comfortable as possible for both specialists and untrained users. It is characterized by high accuracy and speed of measurements. Thanks to the clear menu, color and sound indication, working with the device will not cause difficulties even for untrained users. The dosimeter uses 2 Geiger-Muller counters SBM-20-1 as ionizing radiation sensors. They are located on the right and left sides of the device. A device with a mini-USB port, which can be used to connect the device using a USB-mini-USB cable to a computer and a special program, as well as to recharge batteries from a computer or from an electrical network. After turning on the device, an assessment of the radioactive situation automatically begins. After approximately 9 seconds, the first measurement result appears on the screen, after which the next measurement cycle begins. Measurements are carried out continuously until the device is turned off, regardless of what mode the device is in. The device shows the most accurate measurement results when the accuracy indicator is completely filled. To determine the background from a specific object, you must select the “Measurement” mode and bring the dosimeter to the object. The dosimeter's memory stores measurement results and the accumulated dose. Main features: touch color display (128x160); continuous, numerical, graphic indication of readings; 2 Geiger-Muller counters SBM 20-1; measurement speed 9 seconds; ability to save measurement results; fixation of the accumulated dose - at least 1 year; accumulation of background radiation measurement history - at least 24 hours in 10-second increments; the ability to independently update software; measurement of background radiation and accumulated dose; color and sound indication; compact body; Autonomous power supply from AAA batteries or AC adapter; The proprietary SOEKS power supply kit allows you to charge batteries directly in the device.
