Its dimensions are comparable to a ballpoint pen, and its modern design will delight the most spoiled esthete. But don't underestimate the tiny device: its heart is the sensitive and time-tested SBM 20-1 sensor. He is able to sense gamma radiation energy equal to 0.1 MeV. And the warning threshold of the device can be set by the user, starting from a radiation level of 0.3 μSv/h. Radiation can lie in wait for you everywhere: in a hardware store and at a vegetable market, in a toy given to a child and on a plot of land that you are just about to buy. And it is not always appropriate to openly measure background radiation.
