Plustek SmartOffice SC8016U scans batches of mixed documents without prior sorting separation. Embossed cards, ID cards, driver's licenses, any paper document up to A3 size - you simply insert them all together into the paper feed tray and press the button. The paper processing system, combined with advanced image processing technologies, will automatically provide the right size images or PDF files. The automatic document feeder up to A3 size easily accepts documents from 2" x 2" to 11.69" x 200". Control buttons on the panel automate up to 9 different scanning jobs, including: scan to searchable PDF, save to a folder on a network or computer, scan to email, scan to application, and scan to printer. The wake-up feature turns on the scanner as soon as a document enters the feeder. The built-in ultrasonic sensor detects the capture of two or more documents during the scanning process. The ultrasonic sensor can be disabled if you specifically need to scan stapled documents. With innovative design and advanced features, even when scanning huge quantities of documents.
