The imageFORMULA DR-M140II scanner is designed to handle Letter, Legal, Large and Long documents and can scan both sides in one pass. It includes two universal feed paths: the default "spread" path for typical documents, as well as a user-selectable straight feed path that allows the scanner to handle thick, fragile or rigid documents such as driver's licenses, plastic ID cards, envelopes and postcards. An added benefit of the U-turn path is front loading and front ejection, which makes operation more convenient than most desktop scanners and helps save desk space. Dual feed paths allow users to scan documents of different sizes in one batch, minimizing the chance of misfeeds. The imageFORMULA DR-M140II is ergonomically designed to feed documents conveniently from the front of the device—no need to stand or reach to place documents in the scanner—and the compact design allows the scanner to be placed flush against a wall. The imageFORMULA DR-M140II scanner's automatic document feeder can hold up to 80 sheets, helping reduce the need to manually feed documents one at a time, and can scan up to 40 pages per minute. Included is Canon's latest CaptureOnTouch software, designed to provide advanced features and user experience such as barcode and metadata recognition, batch splitting, drag-and-drop page addition, thumbnail viewing and more.
