Avision AV332U is a two-sided scanner with a speed of up to 40 pages per minute, with the ability to scan plastic cards, business cards, standard or other documents with a density of up to 413 g/m2. Compared to its predecessors - the AV series scanners, the AV332U is equipped with innovative design and functionality. The scanner is capable of processing up to 5,000 sheets per day, which makes it suitable for use in small and even medium-sized offices with a large document flow. Thanks to the direct paper path and image processing technology, mixed batches of documents of varying weights and sizes can be processed. Document sizes range from 52 x 74 mm. up to 216 x 356 mm. The 50-sheet automatic document feeder is designed to handle documents up to 413 g/m2, as well as embossed plastic cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver's licenses and health insurance cards up to 1.25 mm thick. Equipped with innovative, reversible roller drive technology for improved paper separation, the AV332U offers exceptional reliability when handling a variety of document types. With a built-in ultrasonic multifeed detection sensor, the scanner allows you to detect stuck sheets of paper by measuring their thickness. If a multifeed is detected, a warning message will be displayed. Avision AV332U has a compact body and stylish design; the input and output trays can be removed when the scanner is not in use. Keeping the tray out of the way will also help protect the scanner from dust. Unlike larger scanners, the compact AV332U can be easily placed on a desk without taking up much space. Convenient, programmable buttons allow users to set nine customizable functions for different types of scanning. For example, you can create file formats such as PDF, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, and BMP, scan to email, or create file documents simply by pressing a button. The AV332U scanner comes with TWAIN drivers, ISIS drivers, and other useful applications that include Button Manager 2, AvScan X, and PaperPort 14SE. With Button Manager 2, you can create a searchable PDF document and transfer the image to email, printer, or Evernote® applications. AVScan and PaperPort are highly effective image processing and document management software that will help you simplify a variety of document processing tasks.
