The AD345GL series is easy to use with an LCD display and panel buttons. By selecting a destination and clicking the Scan button, you can scan and send the scanned image to the destination application you specify, such as email, a printer, or suitable image editing software. Up to nine frequently used scan settings and destinations can be preset to suit your various scanning needs. With advanced straight paper path and imaging technology, mixed batches of documents of varying sizes and weights can be scanned, trimmed, aligned accordingly, and ready for use. The scanning size accommodates paper from receipts (2 x 2 inches) to business documents (8.5 x 14 inches). The automatic document feeder is also durable enough to feed paper up to 413 g/m2 (110 lb) and hard, embossed cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver's licenses and health insurance cards up to 1.25 mm thick. Featuring an innovative reversing roller for advanced paper separation capabilities, the AD345GL Series delivers exceptional feeding reliability and productivity by effectively reducing the risk of multi-feeding or paper jams. With ultrasonic multi-feed detection, the scanner allows you to install overlapping paper by detecting the paper thickness between documents. You can turn off the ultrasonic feature when scanning documents containing labels, sticky notes, or taped receipts. This innovative design prevents double feeding and efficiently scans documents of varying weights and thicknesses. The AD345GL series features a unique and stylish design that allows the paper input and output trays to be folded when not in use. The paper tray also helps protect the device from dust. Unlike bulky conventional scanners, the slim AD345GL series can be easily carried and placed on your desk without taking up much space. The AD345GL series comes with TWAIN and ISIS drivers, as well as a suite of powerful software applications, including Avision Button Manager, AVScan and PaperPort. With Button Manager, you can create searchable PDFs, scan, and send images to email, printer, or cloud servers such as Google DriveTM or Evernote® with the simple press of a button. AVScan and PaperPort are highly efficient image processing and document management software that helps you optimize your task more efficiently.
