Avision AD230U is a two-sided scanner with a speed of up to 40 pages per minute, with the ability to scan plastic cards, business cards, standard or other documents with a density of up to 413 g/m2. Compared to its predecessors, the AD230U features a unique and innovative design and is capable of scanning documents up to 240mm wide, making the scanner suitable for processing a wider range of documents. The scanner is an upgraded AD230 model with an improved paper feed mechanism. Thanks to the direct paper path and image processing technology, mixed batches of documents of varying weights and sizes can be processed. Document sizes vary from 50 x 50 mm. up to 240 x 256 mm. The automatic document feeder is designed to process documents up to 413 gsm/m2, as well as embossed plastic cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver's licenses and health insurance cards up to 1.25 mm thick. Equipped with innovative, reversible roller drive technology for improved paper separation, the AD230U provides exceptional reliability when handling a variety of document types. With a built-in ultrasonic multifeed detection sensor, the scanner allows you to detect stuck sheets of paper by measuring their thickness. If a multifeed is detected, a warning message will be displayed. Avision AD230U has a unique and stylish design, the input and output trays can be removed when the scanner is not in use. Keeping the tray out of the way will also help protect the scanner from dust. Unlike larger scanners, the compact AD230U can be easily placed on a desk without taking up much space. Convenient, programmable buttons allow users to set nine customizable functions for different types of scanning. For example, you can create file formats such as PDF, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, and BMP, scan to email, or create file documents simply by pressing a button.
