DOKO DS13FS is one of the most popular types of portable cameras in modern classrooms with a flexible tripod, with an excellent zoom lens and a high-resolution recording matrix, as well as a full set of outputs that allow you to directly display images through a video projector on a large screen or interactive whiteboard, and transfer them to a computer. The flexible tripod is not only foldable (like most other models), but also rotating. In this case, the camera head itself can also rotate 180 degrees relative to its mounting axis. This provides 4 degrees of freedom of movement, which allows you to flexibly change the position of the camera head and point it at the observation object within a wide range. Another important function of the optical head is the ability to automatically adjust its parameters (lens and matrix) in order to achieve the best quality (sharpness) of the generated image. This includes autofocus (AF), auto exposure (AE) and often auto white balance (AWB) functions. However, any machine works according to a certain average algorithm and may make a little “mistake”, especially when there is insufficient lighting or a low-contrast scene. That is why modern cameras also provide the possibility of fine manual adjustments, in particular changes within a small range of the effective focal length. The DOKO DS13FS has special manual focus buttons for this purpose on the remote control. The camera supports image resolution up to FullHD format, which allows you to save high-resolution images in the camera’s memory and then transfer them to a computer and use them in various applications (in particular, for text recognition from digital copies of documents obtained in this way). VGA and HDMI outputs are mainly intended for transferring generated images from the camera to an external monitor or video projector. The presence of an input for an external microphone, as well as an audio output for connecting external speakers, allows you to use sound during a presentation. One common use for a document camera is to show enlarged microscope images, for example, in a biology class. A complete set for different eyepiece diameters is included in the standard delivery package.
