Didactic game: Montessori Seguin boards
Montessori Seguin boards consist of 2 boxes with lids containing 4 boards and 18 number plates. Also included: 2 boxes of rods, beads and bead stand. The Seguin board - 1 is used for memorizing numbers from 11 to 19, the ability to compose these numbers from colored and “golden” beads (indirectly preparing for performing arithmetic operations with multi-digit numbers). The Seguin board - 2 is used to develop the ability to count sequentially from 11 to 99, introduce “round” two-digit numbers, compare numbers and quantities, master combinations of numbers, new concepts and prepare for linear counting.
