Sample divider for bulk materials DP-10

Grooved divider Vibrotekhnik DP 10 Designed for dividing samples of bulk materials or pulp, performed by reducing the sample into two components of equal size and content. Any dry bulk materials are easily divided: ferroalloys, ores, granite, soil, sand, coal, glass, pulp. Separating samples of wet, greasy, sticky, prone to agglomeration and similar materials is difficult; separate samples are impossible. The possibility and efficiency of sample division is determined experimentally. The sample divider consists of a dividing block, a side panel, a stand and three sample collectors. The dividing block is represented by a package of plates forming grooves directed alternately in directions opposite to the axis of the block. The block is covered by plates that close the package along the side surfaces, forming a loading funnel with its upper part. At the ends of the dividing block there are racks that serve as its support. To collect a divided sample, sample collectors are designed to uniformly load the sample across the entire width of the loading funnel. The sample divider is placed horizontally on a flat surface. The sample collectors are installed under the dividing block until it stops. The sample is fed into the loading funnel. The material enters the dividing block and is evenly distributed through the grooves into the sample collectors. Parts of the sample are sent for further processing or re-splitting.
