Membrane deionizer DME-2B OPTIMA Ultra designed for purifying tap water to an electrical conductivity level of 0.056 µS/cm. The prepared water corresponds to laboratory water according to ASTM D1193-06 purity level 1. The membrane deionizer implements seven-stage purification of tap water. The water treatment scheme includes: mechanical filter for removing suspended particles and colloids measuring 5 microns or more; pre-filter-dechlorinator to remove free chlorine and its compounds; first-stage reverse osmosis membrane to remove the bulk of dissolved salts and microorganisms; second-stage reverse osmosis membrane to reduce the load on ion exchange and extend the life of the deionizing filter; ion exchange deionizing filter for deep demineralization of reverse osmosis filtrate and bringing the electrical conductivity of pure water to 1 µS/cm; second-stage ion-exchange deionizing filter to remove residual ions and cations and produce ultra-pure water; membrane microfilter 0.2 microns to ensure microbiological purity at the outlet of the water distribution unit Source water: drinking (tap) in accordance with SanPiN 2.1.4.1074-01 “Drinking water”; temperature: 5…35 °C; pressure: >0.2 MPa (2 bar).
