Ultrasonic distance sensor Robotrack
The distance sensor determines the distance to objects using ultrasound. The sensor is convenient to use for measuring distances to objects, in the competitive “maze” direction or in research projects. Operating principle: The sensor generates sound pulses at a frequency of 40 kHz and listens to the echo. Based on the time of propagation of a sound wave to an object and back, the distance to the object can be unambiguously determined. The maximum measurable distance is 300 cm.
