Basic set of training manipulator
When assembled, the set is a robotic platform for educational and competitive activities. What will the child learn? The set promotes understanding of the basics of sports and research robotics, development of engineering and algorithmic thinking. Designed for assembling a robotic mobile wheeled platform equipped with a rotary manipulator with a gripper. Working method The set is a construction kit that provides learning the basics of robotics, in particular, electronics, mechatronics, programming and algorithmization. Working with the kit combines the tasks of mechanical assembly of housing elements and electrical circuits, programming, as well as studying the interaction between various devices through wired and wireless data transfer protocols. Software The software includes: integrated development environment; examples of program code for working with various types of actuators included in the set. The integrated development environment operates on devices running Windows operating systems, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. Examples of working with various types of actuators included in the set are built in the form of mini-lessons, allowing you to subsequently combine them into a single program for controlling the manipulator. Methodological support (within the framework of Order 804 it is supplied as a separate item as part of the “Educational module for studying the basics of manipulator robotics”) Consists of instructions for assembling a training manipulator and a teaching manual in Russian. The assembly instructions contain visual and detailed illustrations of the step-by-step assembly of the manipulator, as well as a diagram for connecting motors and servos to the control unit. The manual contains the basic principles of working with the control unit of the manipulator and its external devices. The methodological manual will introduce the student to the software environment and editor for creating program code in the C language, debugging it and then loading this code into the control block for execution. For a broader understanding, the manual will introduce the student to the cloud environment for the visual development of full-fledged applications for the Android operating system platform.
