The driving simulator is intended for driving schools that train drivers of category “C” vehicles. It can also be used when teaching auto mechanics in institutions of general and secondary vocational education (road transport colleges, lyceums). The driving simulator is designed in accordance with the Model Training Program for drivers of category “C” vehicles and meets the requirements of fire and electrical safety, as well as sanitary rules and regulations. The autosimulator allows you to: practice basic motor skills to operate a typical category "C" vehicle on difficult dirt roads and commuter highways; study the general principles of driving a category "C" vehicle under different meteorological conditions and different times of day; study traffic rules in practice without the risk and depreciation costs associated with the operation of a real training vehicle, maintenance costs and fuel and lubricants; prepare to pass the first stage of the practical exam for obtaining the right to drive a category “C” vehicle at the race track): driving is carried out along a closed test route with sequential passing of control exercises; undergo preparation for passing the second stage of the practical exam for obtaining the right to drive a vehicle of category “C” (in the city): driving is carried out randomly along all the busy streets and courtyards of the virtual city, and not strictly along certain test routes; automatically record student errors and save statistical results of training and examination runs in a personalized database. The design of the vehicle simulator provides for a standard layout of the driver's workplace and placement of controls for a category "C" vehicle. The active steering system provides full driving simulation and conveys the sensations of wheel grip and the ability to feel vibration when driving on uneven roads. The simulator is equipped with a collapsible panoramic projection screen with a viewing angle of 210 degrees and two multimedia projectors designed to visualize practical exercises. The soundtrack is provided by an acoustic system integrated into the body of the vehicle. The simulator is equipped with a local network connection system, which allows you to connect all the simulators of this model into a local network for joint training or examination runs in a single virtual space. The delivery set includes a wireless keyboard that allows the instructor to control the software menu of the vehicle simulator and, while the student is performing exercises, to set the following vehicle malfunctions: power steering failure, brake system failure, increase in coolant temperature, drop in engine oil pressure, generator failure, lack of fuel, tire puncture, emergency stop of surrounding vehicles. Automotive simulator software based on 3D simulation of vehicle movement, taking into account the physical parameters and dynamics of the vehicle, as well as the properties of the virtual environment, provides for training and examination races on a race track, in the city, on a difficult dirt road and on a suburban highway. The software provides the “Virtual Instructor” function, which is a voice guidance that controls the execution of exercises and informs students about mistakes made, for example: “You drove through a prohibitory traffic light.” The volume of the "Virtual Instructor" is regulated by the built-in control unit.
