Total carbon analyzer TOPAZ-S

Total carbon analyzer TOPAZ-S allows you to determine the mass concentration of total carbon (TC), total organic carbon (TOC) and total inorganic carbon (TIC) in various water samples. The operating principle of the device is based on high-temperature thermal catalytic oxidation of compounds contained in a water sample, followed by detection of oxides and automatic calculation of the gross carbon content in the analyzed water sample. Total carbon is determined by carbon dioxide concentration measurements using infrared radiation detector. In accordance with GOST R 52991-2008 (ISO 8245:1999) a separate determination of the content of the general carbon and total inorganic carbon followed by calculation content of total organic carbon based on the difference between the content total carbon and inorganic carbon content, or direct determination of total organic carbon. Suitable for water analysis according to the following standards: PND F 14.1:2:3:4.279-14 “Methodology for measuring mass concentrations of organic carbon and total nitrogen in drinking, natural and waste waters using the high-temperature oxidation method using carbon and nitrogen analyzers.” GOST 31958-2012 “Water.
