EKOMILK SCAN viscometric analyzer
EKOMILK SCAN viscometric analyzer Designed to determine the concentration of somatic cells in milk using a viscometer. The analyzer can be used for rapid determination of the concentration of somatic cells on dairy farms, in milk collection points and at dairy industry enterprises when receiving and processing milk, as well as in veterinary laboratories and diagnostic rooms, research and educational institutions. Quickly obtaining results allows you to timely identify animals with suspected mastitis, carry out incoming control of raw materials and make informed decisions about acceptance, and sort milk by grade. The operating principle of the EKOMILK SCAN milk analyzer corresponds to the method for determining somatic cells in milk using a viscometer in accordance with GOST 23453-90 “Milk. Methods for determining the number of somatic cells." The viscometric method involves measuring the flow time of a sample through a capillary of a strictly defined diameter, and then calculating the cell concentration using the conditional viscosity. To carry out the analysis, it is necessary to prepare an aqueous solution of the drug "Mastoprim" in accordance with the standard methodology, universal for all viscometric milk analyzers. Important: the device measures the relative viscosity of raw (uncollected) milk and calculates the concentration of somatic cells in raw (uncollected) milk. The method for determining somatic cells by conditional viscosity is an arbitration method and is recognized by Rosstandart. "EKOMILK SCAN" implements this technique in automatic mode, eliminating subjective operator errors when manually measuring the expiration time. The device is reliable, easy to operate and does not require complex maintenance. The analyzer design does not contain complex optical or electronic components that require regular calibration. The built-in mechanism automatically mixes the milk mixture with Mastoprim for (30±10) seconds. The operator just needs to fill in the reagents, press a button and read the result from the display - all other operations are performed by the device. The working vessel can be easily removed for cleaning. The low cost of one analysis (only Mastoprim and washing solutions are used) makes the device pay for itself even for small farms. No expensive calibration samples or expensive sensor replacements are required. Scope of delivery: Somatic cell analyzer "EKOMILK SCAN".
