The Snapmaker Artisan 3in1 3D printer belongs to the newest generation of multifunctional devices for FDM printing, laser engraving and laser cutting of various materials. The design of this machine uses industrial-grade technology, which allows it to be used for solving professional problems. Inheriting Snapmaker's signature all-metal design, the Artisan comes with an upgraded, larger, one-piece cast base plate. This gives the 3D printer the necessary stability even when printing quickly. The dimensions of the construction area of 400x400x400 mm make it possible to implement large projects in one cycle. The design uses micron-level CNC machined steel guides built into Artisan linear modules. This results in significant improvements in precision, rigidity and durability, delivering fast, accurate and consistent printing. The design of the machine involves the use of quick-change tool heads, which allows you to switch between 3 functions in 1 minute. The FDM printing module is a dual extruder with a maximum temperature of 300°C. By default, hotends are equipped with 0.4 mm brass nozzles. The 3D printing module has a built-in motor to automatically lift and switch between two extruders without additional tool head movement or switches. This enables faster and quieter dual extrusion 3D printing. In addition to printing in two colors or two materials, the dual extruder fully supports PVA, HIPS and other dissolvable materials to support models with particularly complex geometries and cavities. With an optimized transmission system and motion control algorithm, Artisan achieves dimensional accuracy of ±0.1mm when printing at high speeds of up to 180mm/s. The printing platform has a zonal heating system. In the middle of the platform there is a high temperature zone measuring 260 × 260 mm which heats up to 110°C, while the highest temperature in the outer zone is 80°C. The print platform has two sides: glossy glass and PEI coating - for use with various types of thermoplastics. Thanks to the high printing temperature, high quality extruder and cutting algorithm, Artisan can print with a variety of materials: PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU, Breakaway PLA, PVA, HIPS, Nylon, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon, Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon. With the latest 10W laser module, Artisan is capable of cutting more materials faster and deeper, as well as producing high-quality laser engraving. The 10W laser module can engrave at speeds of up to 6000mm/min, cutting through wood up to 8mm thick in a single pass. Equipped with laser beam splitters and beam shaping optics, the laser module has ultra-precise focusing (0.05 mm × 0.2 mm). Triangulation technology helps calculate material thickness and autofocus in seconds. The wide-angle camera captures your footage in one frame. The laser module allows you to effectively work with a variety of materials: wood, leather, ceramics, slate, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, corrugated cardboard, MDF and many others. The Snapmaker Artisan 3in1 3D Printer can also be equipped with a 200W CNC module with ER11 collet, custom clamp sets and dust-proof design. Compared to Snapmaker 2.0, the Artisan CNC module has increased power by 300% and maximum spindle speed by 50%, making it 6 times faster when cutting hardwoods such as beech. High rigidity linear modules and high-speed spindle enable the CNC module to smoothly cut or cut various materials with dimensional accuracy up to 0.2mm. With this module, you can effectively process hard wood (beech, walnut), softwood, HDF, MDF, plywood, jade, carbon fiber, acrylic, epoxy resin blanks, PCB blanks. Much attention was paid to safety. The Artisan comes with a protective housing that reduces the laser's class 4 to class 1, which is completely safe for the user. The door detection sensor allows the laser or CNC to automatically stop when any door is opened. The laser module includes a gyroscopic sensor that ensures that the laser beam does not go beyond the working area if the module deviates from the specified position. There is also an emergency stop button in the controller. The laser module automatically stops working when the operating temperature (55°C) is exceeded. For the most convenient control, the 3D printer received a 7-inch touch screen with a completely new user interface. The Snapmaker Artisan 3in1 3D printer is optimized to work with the proprietary Snapmaker Luban software. This software makes the process of setting up 3D printing, as well as laser and CNC processing, very fast and simple. The latest version of Luban has many print modes, so there is often no need to adjust settings. Beautiful prints are just a few clicks away.
